Like water, traditional investment capital naturally flows to where it encounters the fewest obstacles.  It typically will also flow to where it can find the highest yield. Unfortunately, this path of “least resistance” (low friction and higher risk-adjusted return), leaves many investment opportunities outside the flowpath of traditional investment capital.

At equity2 we are on a mission to divert and redirect some of the flow of traditional investment capital to investment opportunities that follow a different investment paradigm – one that prioritizes community impact and benefit while also pursuing risk-adjusted, market or near market returns.  

Our investment thesis is simple, we believe investing in people and places overlooked by traditional investment capital can provide attractive returns while creating shared value for investors and communities.
