By financing a diversified portfolio of projects, the equity 2 Impact Fund provides a unique opportunity to invest in operating businesses and community-enhancing real estate projects in underserved, overlooked neighborhoods. We invest in minority and women-led companies as well as in projects that provide sustained social and economic benefits for residents of surrounding low-income communities.

Our Partners
Formed in 2019 by AltCap and Community Capital Fund, equity2 is building on a strong track record of deploying capital in communities that lack significant financial infrastructure and institutional capital. Over the past 15 years, our partner agencies have invested more than $250 million in the Kansas City region’s most economically distressed communities. Additional partnerships with local leaders in the opportunity zone space provide strategic institutional knowledge and expertise, helping us deliver high-impact tax-advantaged investment opportunities.
